Love Came Down: Chapter 2

See before this, man was like a God-man. He was in a body,making him man but God exploded himself into man. Literally, man has God-like qualities held back by a human body. Man choosing the fruit meant man was cutting off his God side and dying spiritually. So the plan put in place to save us was only put in place because of God’s love for us (1 Peter 1:18-20). Christ who is love left everything. His glory, his power, his throne and bliss, and came down to earth as a human so he would be able to feel what we felt but yet stay holy (Hebrews 4:15). He went through the whole plan. Jesus Christ that had never felt physical pain, never being beaten, was bruised, slapped, spit on, whipped, and crucified. And for the first time in the history of eternity the Godhead split and God turned on his own for the sins Jesus carried on himself were filthy in the sight of God (2 Cor 5:12). The very thing that kept us away from God was taken away. Our sins were forgiven. Our verdict was given to another. Our debts were paid, all because LOVE (CHRIST) took OUR sins on himself so that we may enjoy freedom.
